Cyber Five has a unique and cost effective way for your company to do business on the World Wide Web.

Your website designed by Cyber Five, contains your products. When customers click "add to cart", the product information is tracked on the Shopping Cart server. When they click "check out ", the order is checked for correct field entry, and sent to you by e-mail.

You than process the order like a call in order using your existing merchant account.

That's it! One item or a thousand, it couldn't be any easier.

Orders through the shopping Cart service are nicely formatted, summarized and itemized. They are suitable for filing, and also make great invoices to include in the box you send to your customer.

FAQ

Security:
Q:
You say you offer "secure server" for credit card security. What does that mean and how does it work?
A:
The goal of server security is to achieve one thing: Deliver credit card information from the customer to the merchant with the minimum possibility of exposure to prying eyes. The primary tool for this is the utilization of secure data encryption. Encrypted information is sent between the customer and the cart, and then you retrieve credit card information the same way. Although orders are emailed to you in the clear, the credit card number is striped off, which you then retrieve through your secure browser, thus completing the secure path.

Q:
Do need a separate secure server or certificate?
A:
No. These are included with your monthly service fee.

Merchant account:

We recommend the standard non-realtime set-up, where you can review each order, then process it on your own equipment as if it were a phone order.
The shopping cart server automatically check vital fields for correctly FORMED information, but no such system is foolproof. When you receive an order through the shopping cart server, you should review it for legitimacy, check to make sure all needed information has been included by the customer, enter it into your records, and only then key charges into your merchant POS terminal (or equiv). Charge difficulties are avoided, and you maintain total control over your merchant account. The customer doesn't know the difference, and it's a lot safer for you.

Q:
Must I have a merchant credit card account to accept credit cards over the Internet through a shopping cart server?
A:
Yes. We are not a charge processing service. The
shopping cart server supports facilitation of sales via credit card. You do need a
merchant account to run the charges through.

If you already have a merchant account and a method you are currently using to run charges, you are welcome to continue to use that
account/method with The
shopping cart server. There is no need to switch merchant accounts or to use any sort of "realtime" processing
if you have no desire to do so.

Q:
Is there significant credit card fraud on the Internet?
A:
For orders originating from certain "problem countries" and to a much lesser extent domestic orders, there is cause for concern. These tips are intended to help reduce or eliminate fraudulent activity.
